John PalmerProf. John W.Palmer

 

Professor Palmer has had a distinguished career in law and education. A Professor Emeritus of the Capital University Law School in Ohio since 1996, and a Life Fellow of both the American and the Ohio State Bar Foundations, he also has broad international experience including numerous fellowships in the prestigious Fulbright program. He is licensed to practice law before all U.S. federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, and has extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In addition to having been a member of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Panel of Arbitrators and the National Coal Arbitration Board, he has shared an award with former U.S. President Carter for efforts in mediation and conciliation. Professor Palmer is both the senior representative for and registered agent of ICCMCA in the United States.

William BurnsHon. William L. Burns

The Hon. William L. Burns was a County Level Trial Court Judge for 24 years in the U.S. State of Montana during which time he adjudicated approximately 22,000 cases. After retiring from the bench in 1999, he accepted a position teaching law in Estonia where he has lectured on contract law, international business transactions, civil and criminal trial practice, the jurisprudence of the world trade organization, and comparative tort law among others. During his career as a judge he had extensive experience with mediation and arbitration procedures, and as a result is a proponent of the benefits of using ADR to free court system resources to improve the delivery of justice

 Katrin OravKatrin Orav

Katrin is an attorney-at-law with the law firm LEXTAL in Tallinn Estonia. She received her law degree from Tartu University and was admitted as a member of the Estonian Bar in 2006. She has also served as Chairman of the Estonian Young Bar Association in 2010, and is very active in the international business community in Tallinn.

Hartmut RankHartmut Rank

Hartmut is a German attorney who began his career in commercial law in Stuttgart. Since 2007 he has resided permanently in Ukraine advising private clients and the President of the Lviv Chamber of Commerce and Industry on cross-border legal matters. A member of both the German and Ukrainian bar associations, he has a particular professional focus on international arbitration and since this year is also a member of the German Institute of Arbitration. Hartmut is the resident representative of ICCMCA in Ukraine.

Miroslaw Bik

Miroslaw is a Polish legal advisor practicing commercial and business law. He graduated from Warsaw University in 2003 and was admitted to Polish Legal Advisors’ Bar. Miroslaw is a partner in Peter Nielsen & Partners Law Office in Warsaw and is a member of Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. His legal specialities are building and construction law, commercial and corporate law, litigation and mergers & acquisitions.Miroslaw was also a speaker on conference concerning Forum Shopping in Brussels in 2006 organized by Eurolegal organization.

 

 

Dr. Sven I. Oksaar

Dr. Sven I. Oksaar is a partner in the law firm REMÉ Rechtsanwälte in Hamburg specializing in commercial, company and banking law. He is a member of both the German Bar Association and the International Bar Association, and is a dual citizen of Sweden and Estonia. During 1992-1995 he served as an Embassy Counsellor in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Estonia. He is the Chairman of the German-Estonian Lawyers Association, and is the resident representative of ICCMCA in the Federal Republic of Germany.
